Description
Richard Wagner's Ring of the Nibelung is a fast-paced card game that drops you into the world of Norse myth and opera. Players take on the roles of great lords of the north, all vying for control of Alberich's Ring, a powerful artifact with a terrible curse that destroys anyone who wears it for too long. With a simple ruleset that's easy to learn, 2 to 5 players can join in on the fun, exploring the game's medieval and mythological themes. In this 15 to 30 minute game, you'll collect characters from Midgard and your hand, placing them in your Great Hall to battle, fall in love, or scheme their way to victory. Each character has a unique Ring value, allowing you to steal the Ring and claim treasures with victory points and amazing powers. But beware, the curse is always looming, threatening to destroy your progress and characters. Will you risk it all for the Ring's power, or play it safe and outmaneuver your opponents?
