Description

In Perfect Storm: Alaska, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure as a small entrepreneur seeking to make a fortune fishing in the Bering Sea. Along with 1 to 4 other players, you'll take on the role of a captain with big dreams but little experience, starting with a basic ship and a rookie crew. As you venture into the shallow waters, you'll begin by catching fish, but with the money you earn, you'll be able to upgrade your crew, boat, and gear, allowing you to catch more valuable prey like shrimp and King Crab. The game is designed to be easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to new players. As you navigate the treacherous waters, you'll need to manage risk and make calculated decisions to balance your resources and minimize danger. The weather cards will dictate the wind speed and wave size, and with a small boat, you'll need to be careful not to get caught in a storm. But with a bigger boat and an experienced crew, you'll be able to defy the waves and catch a larger quantity of King Crab. The game is all about finding the perfect balance between your boat, crew, and captain, the place to fish, and the risk of facing bad weather.
