Flintlock: Black Powder, Cold Steel - Volume I: Carolina Rebels is a company level American Revolution game that drops you into the midst of the grueling Southern Campaign. With a scale of about 50 yards per hex and 50 men per counter/unit, you'll be making tactical decisions that can turn the tide of battle. The game emphasizes the limits of command, training, and discipline, all set against the backdrop of linear warfare in the pre-Napoleonic era. As you navigate the hexagon grid, you'll need to weigh the pros and cons of different formations and tactics, such as whether to have your troops go into close order or spread out for better fire possibilities.
