Description

1914: Glory's End and When Eagles Fight are two games in one package that bring the excitement and complexity of World War I to your tabletop. In 1914: Glory's End, you'll experience the first three months of the Great War on the western front, from the Guns of August to First Ypres, with a unique treatment that emphasizes playability without compromising on historical feel. The game uses an Igo-Hugo system with two types of combat, allowing you to demonstrate the tactical realities of the campaign, and features a unique Entrenchment rule that reflects the coming of trench warfare. When Eagles Fight, on the other hand, covers the eastern front in World War I, where the armies of Tsarist Russia battled against the German army and the multi-ethnic forces of Austria-Hungary. With a large-hex map and turns representing one or two months, you'll recreate this titanic struggle from the initial clashes to the revolution that brought down Tsar Nicholas II. Both games offer a fun and historical experience, with low-complexity rules that don't sacrifice the unique elements of each theater of the Great War. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just starting out, 1914: Glory's End and When Eagles Fight are sure to provide hours of engaging and immersive gameplay, making them a great addition to any game collection.
