Aguirre is a thrilling adventure game that drops you into the midst of a perilous expedition to find El Dorado. Designed by Ann Journey, this game is all about survival and strategy as you navigate the challenges of the Amazon and Orinoco rivers, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the infamous Don Lope de Aguirre, also known as The Madman and The Tyrant. As a member of Aguirre's expedition, your goal is to accumulate enough influence to overthrow him before you become his next victim. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, Aguirre is a fast-paced game that's perfect for 2 to 6 players. As you play, you'll use card drafting and set collection mechanics to earn influence points and overcome thematic challenges. The game's paranoia phase adds an extra layer of tension, as roles and actions are removed from the game each turn, forcing you to adapt your strategy on the fly.
