Description

In the land of Ironwood, a fierce battle rages between the Ironclad and the Woodwalkers, two factions vying for control of the precious Larimor Crystals. These crystals hold immense energy and can be found in the iron mountains and dense forests, making them a highly sought-after treasure. The Ironclad aim to harness the crystals' energy to fuel their machines and inventions, while the Woodwalkers seek to use their raw magical power to summon the ancient Guardian of the woods. As the conflict reaches its climax, one faction will emerge victorious, claiming dominion over Ironwood. In this highly asymmetric, card-driven game, players take on the roles of Commander of the Ironclad or Chieftain of the Woodwalkers, each with unique play styles, decks, and victory conditions. With a playtime of 30 to 60 minutes, Ironwood is a tactical game that's easy to learn but challenging to master. Players alternate playing faction-specific cards to position their warbands, initiate combat, and extract crystals. The game also features a solo mode, allowing players to test their skills against either faction. With its engaging gameplay and immersive fantasy setting, Ironwood is a must-play for fans of strategy and adventure, and its normal complexity makes it accessible to anyone familiar with board games.
