Description

Bismarck is a thrilling board game that recreates the British hunt for the German battleship Bismarck in 1941. Players take on the roles of the British and German navies, operating blind and attempting to find or avoid each other. The game is played on a grid, with each player having a hidden map-board and calling out coordinates to locate their opponent. The British player must use their search planes and ships to track down the Bismarck, while the German player tries to evade detection and make their way to the Atlantic. As the game unfolds, players move their units, search for enemy ships, and engage in combat. The British must use their units strategically to shadow the Bismarck and eventually sink it, while the Germans try to avoid contact and break out into the Atlantic. With its unique blend of hidden movement and combat, Bismarck is a challenging and exciting game that requires strategic thinking and tactical skill.
