Description
Ticket to Ride: San Francisco is a fun and fast-paced board game that's all about building train routes across a map of 1960s San Francisco. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can jump in and start competing to build the best network of cable car lines in just 10 to 15 minutes. Each player starts with a set of cable cars, transportation cards, and destination tickets, and then takes turns drawing cards, claiming routes, or collecting new tickets. As you build your lines, you'll earn points for connecting key locations like Lombard Street and the Golden Gate Bridge, and for completing your destination tickets. You'll also collect souvenir tokens from these locations, which can be worth big points if you can collect a full set. The game ends when one player is down to just two cable cars, and then it's a final rush to score as many points as possible. With its simple rules and quick playtime, Ticket to Ride: San Francisco is a great introduction to the Ticket to Ride series, designed by Alan R. Moon and published in 2022.
