Description
In Greenland, you'll take on the role of one of three tribes, the Tunit, Norse, or Thule, as they inhabit Greenland from the 11th to the 15th centuries. Your goal is to secure food, resources, and technology to grow your tribe, while also dealing with the challenges of the weather and competing species. You'll send your population out to hunt native species, but be careful, as some may not return. As you play through six phases, representing six generations, you'll navigate events like elder deaths, animal migrations, and global cooling, all while negotiating with other players to protect your interests. You'll assign hunters, resolve conflicts, and make decisions about technology, marriage, and even religion, as you choose between monotheism and polytheism. With its unique blend of auction, dice rolling, and worker placement mechanics, Greenland offers a thrilling and immersive experience for 1 to 3 players, lasting around 60 to 120 minutes.
