Description

Tokaido: Matsuri is an exciting expansion that brings traditional Japanese festivities to the Tokaido journey. With 16 new travelers and a range of new cards and tokens, this expansion adds depth and strategy to the game. As players arrive at intermediate inns, they trigger matsuri, or festivals, which introduce unique events and challenges to the game. This expansion is easy to learn and integrates seamlessly into the base game, offering 2 to 5 players a fresh and engaging experience. With a playtime of just 45 minutes, Tokaido: Matsuri is a great way to mix things up and add some variety to your Tokaido games. Designed by Antoine Bauza, this 2016 expansion is a great addition to the Tokaido series, and is compatible with the base game and other expansions like Crossroads.
