Description
Soldier Raj is a game of war and intrigue set in the Indian sub-continent from 1767 to 1846. Designed by Robert G. Markham, the game is easy to learn and can be played with 2 to 5 players. Players take on the roles of colorful leaders like Hyder Ali, Tippoo of Mysore, and Sir Arthur Wellesley, commanding their nation's military, political, and economic destiny. The game features beautiful, decadently thick tiles and high-quality playing cards, with successful card play being a key to victory. Combat is resolved by dice rolls, with good generalship crucial to success. Players win by taking the most territory or destroying their nation's enemies. With over a dozen scenarios to play through, Soldier Raj offers a unique and engaging gaming experience that can also be combined with Soldier Emperor for an even larger and more complex game.
