Description
The mystical forest of Haven has been a sanctuary for ancient creatures and spirits for thousands of years, but its tranquility is under threat. A nearby city, hungry for power, seeks to exploit the forest's magical energies, while the forest's inhabitants must defend their home against this encroaching force. In this game, two players take on the roles of the city and the forest, competing to control the forest's fate. Players send seekers to compete for powerful lore, bestowed by ancient elementals, and engage in combat for control of sacred shrines. The game is easy to learn, but with multiple mechanics at play, including area majority and hand management, it offers a fun and challenging experience. With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, Haven is a great introduction to strategic gameplay, and its beautiful theme and simple rules make it an enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels.
