Description
Plague is a darkly comedic board game that's all about collecting and transporting plague victims to their final resting place, a deep pit at Clarks Hill. Designed by Steven Barsky and first published in 1991, this medieval-themed game is simple to learn but offers a fun and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players. The goal is to be the first player to "bury" 99 victims, all while navigating the dangers of rats and fleas that can hinder your progress. As you roll the dice and move your wagon through the streets, you'll need to pick up infected victims from houses and deliver them to the burial site. But beware, your opponents can use "take that" mechanics to sabotage your efforts and send your wagon off course. With its unique blend of dice rolling, pick-up and deliver, and racing mechanics, Plague is a thrilling game that's full of surprises. And don't worry, despite its morbid theme, the game is completely germ-free, so you can enjoy the experience without worrying about catching anything. With a playtime of around 120 minutes, Plague is a great choice for a fun and entertaining game night with friends.
