Description
In Freedom: The Underground Railroad, players work together to build the Abolitionist movement and bring an end to slavery in the United States. By using notable figures and pivotal events, players raise support for the cause and help slaves escape to freedom in Canada. The game is a cooperative experience for one to four players, where each player contributes their unique role and abilities to impact the game. As players navigate the challenges of freeing slaves and raising funds, they must balance their actions to avoid slave catchers and other obstacles. With careful planning and teamwork, players can change the minds of Americans and ultimately bring down the institution of slavery. The game is a thrilling and educational experience that takes 60 to 120 minutes to play, and is suitable for those familiar with board games due to its normal complexity level.
