Description

In the world of Bonfire: Big Box, the once vibrant cities are now shrouded in darkness after the guardians of light abandoned their posts, taking the warmth and energy of the bonfires with them. As a group of gnomes living on the outskirts, you're determined to revive the bonfires and bring light back to the cities. To do this, you'll need to visit the guardians on their holy islands and complete tasks to prove your worth, earning their trust and re-igniting the bonfires one by one. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this game is easy to dive into, and its engaging gameplay will keep you hooked for 70 to 100 minutes. As you play, you'll puzzle together three-colored tiles on your player board, trying to place the same colors adjacent to each other to receive more action tiles and specialize in certain strategies. These tiles will allow you to move your ship, receive tasks, invite guardians, and more, all in the pursuit of earning the greatest trust from the guardians and brightening your city the most. With a variety of actions to take and improvements to make, you'll need to balance your efforts to come out on top. Designed by Stefan Feld and released in 2023, Bonfire: Big Box offers a fun and challenging experience for 1 to 5 players, making it a great addition to any game night.
