Description
Get ready for a wildly entertaining game of cat and mouse with Globbo, a classic board game from 1983. In this abstract strategy game, one player takes on the role of Globbo, a giant, growing alien creature, while the other player controls a bunch of pesky little urchins trying to take him down. The twist is that these cute little critters come in different types, each with their own unique abilities - Biters can attack and will explode if hit by Globbo, while Blips and Yeasts are created when Biters explode and can combine to form even more Biters. As Globbo grows and moves around the hexagon grid, he's got a range of weapons at his disposal, from his powerful head that can attack up to 15 hexes away, to Blue Zap parts that can attack up to 3 hexes away, and Red Slaps that can take out adjacent spaces. But the little urchins are relentless, and Globbo's got to stay on his toes to avoid getting taken down. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 45 minutes, Globbo is the perfect game for two players looking for a fun and humorous science fiction battle. Will you emerge victorious as the giant Globbo, or will the cute little urchins manage to take you down - there's only one way to find out.
