Rainbow Pirates is a wildly entertaining card game where you'll be collecting treasure and fending off pirate attacks on a magical island. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 5 players can join in on the fun, and games can last anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes. Designed by Brian Sweet and published in 2020, this game is all about strategy and outsmarting your opponents. You'll earn Treasure Points by placing card groups on your island, but watch out - other players can attack your treasure with pirate cards, stealing or blowing it up. As you play, you'll need to manage your hand carefully, deciding when to place cards, rearrange them, or play pirate cards to gain an advantage. But don't worry, you can also defend yourself against incoming attacks if you have the right Color Card in your hand. With multiple paths to victory, you can choose to play aggressively or peacefully, depending on your style and the dynamics of the group. The game can end in a thrilling sudden death, or when one player goes out with a full rainbow on their island, earning a bonus 5 Treasure Points. With its unique blend of humor, card play, and conflict resolution, Rainbow Pirates is a game that will keep you on your toes and leave you wanting more.
