Victory at Midway drops you into the midst of one of World War 2's most pivotal naval battles, where you'll take on the role of a naval commander making high-stakes decisions to outmaneuver your opponent. This game is all about strategy and suspense, as you plan your moves on your own map in a double-blind system, without knowing the exact position of your enemy's fleet. You'll need to use aerial reconnaissance to gather intel, designating areas for air strikes and waiting for your opponent's response, all while trying to keep your own ships and plans under wraps. As you navigate the hexagon grid, you'll engage in ship-to-ship combat, bombardment, and invasion of land targets, with battles resolved through a simple yet thrilling dice-rolling mechanism.
