Castellum: Maastricht is a game where 2 to 4 players compete to defend the historic city of Maastricht against 200 years of sieges. The game is easy to learn and plays out over 45 minutes, making it a great fit for a fun and casual game night. Players take on the challenge of building defenses, hiring soldiers, and preparing the city walls for four historic sieges, from the Eighty-Years War to the Napoleonic era. As players progress through each era, they must collect resources and plan their defenses strategically. They can also influence their opponents' actions by petitioning the churches and guiding the attacking forces to their opponent's side.
