Description

Karmaka is a competitive card game where players start as lowly Dung Beetles and work their way up the Karmic Ladder, aiming to achieve Transcendence first. The game plays out over multiple lives, with each life lasting around 25 to 60 minutes, and is easy to learn, making it accessible to 2 to 4 players. In each life, players must balance scoring points to climb the ladder, collecting cards for their future life, and using card abilities to help themselves or hinder others. As players navigate the game, they must be mindful that their actions have consequences, not just in the current life but in future lives as well. Cards played for their abilities can be taken by rivals, coming back to haunt the player in the next life. This unique mechanic adds a layer of strategy and tension to the game, making Karmaka a thrilling experience for players as they sabotage their rivals and sow the seeds of their next life.
