Description

Propolis is a game of strategy and skill where 1 to 4 players take on the role of competing medieval bee colonies, all vying to become the most glorious in the land. With easy-to-learn rules, this game is perfect for new gamers, but don't be fooled - it's also challenging enough for seasoned players. In just 15 to 30 minutes, you'll be deploying worker bees to collect pollen, fortify your positions, and construct your hive to appease your queen. As you compete over the realm's floral landscapes, you'll be collecting pollen to create the propolis you need to build your hive, all while trying to attain dominance in different realms to gain additional glory and building materials. As your hive expands, new structures will provide additional resources, new scoring opportunities, and the prerequisites to construct a glorious palace for your queen. With a modular board and variable set-up, each game will be unique, offering a fresh challenge every time. Designed by Molly Johnson, Robert Melvin, and Shawn Stankewich, Propolis is a game that combines area majority, contracts, market, and worker placement mechanics, making it a thrilling experience for fans of city building, civilization, and fantasy games. Whether you're playing solo or with friends, Propolis is the perfect game for anyone looking for a fun and engaging experience, and with its small box and short playtime, it's easy to take on the go.
