Description
In the 23rd century, humanity has finally discovered proof of alien life beyond our solar system, and the race is on to establish interstellar relations. The peoples of Earth, Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Jupiter have put aside their differences to build a Super Ship, and the Extraterrestrial Greeting Organization, or EGO, is ready to launch its first mission. As an ambassador from one of these planets, you'll take turns leading the mission, navigating the complexities of alien politics, and competing with your fellow ambassadors to gain the most prestige and respect. As you journey through the galaxy, you'll encounter a series of events, including auctions, drafts, and risks, where you'll need to use your charisma, gifts, and technological advancements to impress alien civilizations and earn rewards. But beware, careless tactics can lead to damaging encounters, and the aliens may not take kindly to your advances. With a simple yet strategic gameplay mechanic, EGO challenges you to balance risk and reward, manage your resources, and outmaneuver your opponents to emerge victorious. With its modular board, multi-use cards, and variable setup, each game of EGO is unique, offering a thrilling experience for 2 to 5 players that will keep you on the edge of your seat for 40 to 80 minutes.
