Description
Get ready to run away to the circus with Balancing Act, a quick and simple card game designed by Adam E. Daulton. In this 15 to 30 minute game, 2 to 4 players compete to create the most impressive Circus Acts by playing cards from their hand and collecting cards from the center row. The goal is to build sequential runs of cards in your Acts, while also managing the cards in your hand, as each one will score you negative points at the end of the game. With a deck of 54 cards, the game is fast-paced and exciting, requiring players to think strategically about which cards to play and when. As you play, you'll encounter special cards that can either help or hinder your progress. The Elephant, for example, allows you to add a card from your hand to one of your Acts, while the Zebra acts as a wild card, worth a bonus point, but also prevents you from playing any more cards after it. The Giraffe is another wild card, but beware, as it's worth negative points. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Balancing Act is easy to learn and fun to play, making it a great addition to any game night. Published in 2023, this base game is a great introduction to the world of card games, and its animal theme adds a fun and lighthearted touch.
