This expansion is designed for 1 to 4 players and can be played in as little as 30 minutes, but games can also stretch up to 90 minutes, depending on the players' strategies. The rules are very simple and can be explained quickly, making it easy for new players to jump into the game. The expansion focuses on four unique guests, each with their own set of favors that can be used to gain an advantage in the game. These guests, including Count Zunyer Garcias, Thomas, Lord Vasel, Michael, Viscount DiLisio, and Camilla, Countess Cleghorn, bring new mechanics and strategies to the game. For example, Count Zunyer Garcias allows players to take the top prestige guest from the supply and optionally take one guest from their discard pile, giving them more control over the guests they have available. Thomas, Lord Vasel, on the other hand, gives players the ability to select any tile from the market without paying, and then passes the Lord Vasel card to the player on their right, adding a social element to the game. Michael, Viscount DiLisio, provides players with a monetary advantage, taking 500 from the bank and optionally dismissing one guest. Camilla, Countess Cleghorn, allows players to crash any activity with a new casual guest and then draw five casual guests, keeping two.
