Description
Verdict II is a classic board game that's all about playing the role of a lawyer, with easy-to-learn rules that make it accessible to everyone. Designed by Charles S. Roberts and first published in 1961, this game is a revised version of the original Verdict. Players take on the roles of prosecutor and defense counselor, examining witnesses and presenting physical facts to try and sway the jury. As you play, you'll use special tools like the Prosecutor's Solution Wheel and the Defense Counselor's Solution Wheel to resolve objections and cross-examinations. The game is full of surprises, with Surprise Witness Cards that can turn the tide of the trial. The first lawyer to get four pawns in the jury box wins, but if neither side can convince the jury, it's time for a retrial. With its unique blend of role-playing and strategy, Verdict II is a fun and engaging game that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
