Description
Gentes is a civilization game where players take on the role of an ancient people, building monuments and colonizing cities in the Mediterranean sea. With a unique timing mechanism, players must manage their actions carefully, as each action requires an action marker and potentially money or sand timers. The game is played over six rounds, with new monument cards entering the game at the beginning of certain rounds, offering fresh opportunities and challenges. As players develop their civilization, they must balance building monuments, training their people, and founding cities, all while managing their resources and actions. With a high level of replayability due to the random setup of monument cards, Gentes offers a fun and engaging experience for 1 to 4 players. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to fans of board games, and its 90-minute playtime allows for a satisfying and immersive experience.
