Description
Yellow & Yangtze is a game of civilization building and strategy, set in ancient China during the Warring States period. Players take on the role of leaders, guiding their dynasty to victory through tile placement and careful management of their resources. With five different leaders to choose from, including the Governor, Soldier, Farmer, Trader, and Artisan, players must balance their strengths and weaknesses to succeed. As players build their civilizations, conflicts arise when they connect on the board, and peasant revolts must be calmed to ensure growth and security. The ultimate goal is to build prestigious pagodas and accumulate victory points, but with a twist - your final score is determined by your weakest category, making every decision count. Designed by Reiner Knizia, Yellow & Yangtze offers a challenging and engaging experience for 2 to 4 players, with a playtime of around 90 minutes.
