Description
In Monad, a classic card game from 1968 designed by Sid Sackson, 2 to 4 players compete to collect round cards known as Monads. The game is easy to learn and plays out over 45 to 60 minutes. Players start with a set of Commons and a Bonus card, and aim to get higher numbered cards into their hand by Trading, Buying, and Leaping with other cards. Each player has an identity color, which can be used as wild cards to help them in their quest. As players take turns, they can trade pairs of cards, leap to higher stacks, or buy cards using the numbers on their existing cards. The goal is to accumulate a set number of Monads, which can be gained by trading in high-value cards or purchased for 80 points. With its simple rules and engaging gameplay, Monad is a fun and challenging game that's perfect for a group of friends or family members looking for a exciting card game experience.
