Description

In Management Material: Information Technology Edition, you'll dive into the corporate world with a twist - the goal is to avoid being promoted to management. This card game is all about strategically playing Excuse cards to dodge Project cards and passing the buck to your fellow players. But beware, others can throw a wrench in your plans by playing Recognition cards, making it tougher to weasel out of a project. As players complete projects, they'll get closer to reaching the dreaded 30 points that mark them as Management Material, and ultimately lose the game. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 5 players can jump into a game of Management Material: Information Technology Edition in no time. Designed by Dave Cook, this 2003 release is a base game that can be played on its own, and its short 30-minute playtime makes it perfect for a quick gaming session. Using hand management mechanics, you'll need to think carefully about which cards to play and when. The addition of Event cards adds an extra layer of randomness, keeping the game exciting and unpredictable. Will you be the last player standing, avoiding the management trap and emerging victorious? There's only one way to find out - gather your friends and get ready to navigate the corporate ladder in Management Material: Information Technology Edition.
