Description
Bios: Megafauna is a game that drops you into the midst of a pivotal moment in Earth's history, the invasion of the land on the daybreak of the Phanerozoic eon. You'll start as a simple plant, mollusk, insect, or vertebral skeletal type, and from there, it's a struggle for dominance on the drifting continental plates of the Cambrian era. Your creatures will flail, paddle, and squawk their way to the top, and who knows, maybe they'll even develop language-based consciousness. This complex and immersive game is designed for 1 to 4 players and can take anywhere from 90 to 180 minutes to play. With its unique blend of area majority, modular board, and card drafting mechanics, Bios: Megafauna offers a challenging and engaging experience that's sure to appeal to experienced board game enthusiasts. As the second edition of the game, it builds on the foundations laid by its predecessors, offering a fresh and exciting take on the evolution of life on Earth.
