Description

Palatine is a social strategy game set in ancient Rome, where 2 to 6 players take on the roles of noble families vying for power. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be bidding against each other for cards that represent opportunities for advancement in Roman high society, such as government positions, military campaigns, or public works. As you play, you'll collect tokens like influence, denarii, and legions, which you can use to bid on more cards. Your goal is to accumulate enough power to either storm Rome with a set number of legions or have the most influence tokens when the deck runs out. With a mix of strategy, luck, and social interaction, Palatine offers a fun and engaging experience that's over in about 50 minutes, making it a great addition to any game night.
