Description
Pentos is a fun and interactive card game designed by Bruno Cathala, where 2 to 5 players compete to collect ingredients and cast spells. The game is easy to learn, with simple rules that get you started quickly, and each playthrough lasts around 30 minutes. Players take turns adding ingredients to cauldrons, tasting potions, or casting spells, using special actions like jokers and enchantments to outmaneuver their opponents. As you collect ingredients, you can cast powerful spells like the Pentos or the rare Megalos, which can instantly win you the game. The goal is to earn the most Koâs by collecting sets of ingredients, with each set earning you points. After three rounds, the player with the most Koâs wins, unless someone casts a Megalos, in which case they're declared the winner on the spot. With its unique blend of hand management and set collection, Pentos is a thrilling game that's perfect for a quick game night with friends.
