Description

In Welkin, you'll take on the role of a celestial construction manager, building islands in the sky and competing to earn the most gold. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can join in on the fun, enjoying 45 minutes of strategic gameplay. Designed by Fabien Tanguy and published in 2019, Welkin combines commodity speculation and card drafting mechanics to create a thrilling experience. As you collect and assemble resources, you'll need to navigate the dynamic market, where resource values fluctuate. Will you cash in on your creations immediately or manipulate the market for a bigger payoff later? With limited storage space, you'll have to optimize your production line to complete contracts and outshine your opponents. The game ends when all contracts are fulfilled, and the architect with the most gold will be crowned the winner, earning their place amongst the stars in this fantasy world of industry and manufacturing.
