Description
Catch Phrase is a fast-paced party game that's all about quick thinking and fast talking. Designed by Craig Clark Williamson and first published in 1994, this game is perfect for a large group of friends, with 4 to 16 players able to join in on the fun. The rules are simple to learn, so you can dive right in and start playing within minutes. The goal is to get your teammates to guess a word or phrase by giving them as many clues as possible, using gestures, words, and any other means necessary. The twist is that you're passing a disk around the circle, and if you're holding it when the buzzer goes off, the other team scores a point. This hot potato-style gameplay makes for a hilarious and exciting experience, with plenty of opportunities for physical comedy and clever wordplay. Games are short, lasting around 30 minutes, making it easy to fit in a round or two.
