Description

Cloudspire is a strategy game that combines elements of tower defense and multiplayer online battle arena games, set in the floating realm of Ankar where factions are vying for control of a rare energy known as the source. Players control one of four unique factions, each with their own units and heroes, and can bid and draft mercenaries to aid in battle. The game features a modular board and a variety of mechanics, including action queues, dice rolling, and tech trees, which allow for a high level of complexity and replayability. As players send armies and minions to attack their opponents, they must also defend their own base by building powerful defense towers known as Spires. Heroes can be controlled individually to explore the board, gather resources, and join battles, while the event deck introduces unexpected twists and challenges. With a playtime of 90 to 180 minutes, Cloudspire offers a deep and engaging experience for 1 to 4 players, whether playing solo, cooperatively, or competitively.
