Description
Five Cucumbers is a trick-taking game with a twist - the goal is to avoid winning the last trick. Players take turns trying to outmaneuver each other by playing equal or higher cards to take over a trick, or playing their lowest card to get out of the way. It's a delicate balance between keeping low cards for the final trick and having high cards to take control of key tricks. In this fast-paced game, players are eliminated as they collect cucumbers for winning the final trick, with the game ending when only two players remain. With simple rules and a playtime of just 25 minutes, Five Cucumbers is a quick and exciting game for 2 to 6 players. Designed by Friedemann Friese and published in 2013, it's a modern take on the classic Scandinavian game Cucumber, and is sure to bring a fresh challenge to fans of trick-taking games.
