Description

In Downtown, you'll take on the role of a gangster boss, navigating the mean streets to come out on top. With 2 to 4 players, the game is all about recruiting the right gangsters, gathering intel on lucrative jobs, and sending your crew out to rob and pillage. But it's not just about getting your hands on the loot - you'll also need to fence your stolen goods or launder your dirty cash to make it usable. The first player to amass 100,000 clean dollars wins the game, and with playtime ranging from 40 to 90 minutes, you'll need to stay on your toes to outmaneuver your opponents. The game's unique mechanics, designed by Florian Racky, add an extra layer of strategy and social interaction to the mix. With no fixed turn order, you'll need to think carefully about which player to pass the baton to next, as the more often you take your turn, the better your chances of winning. This means paying close attention to the other players' plans and making savvy decisions to stay ahead. While Downtown can be played with 2 players, it really shines with 4, so gather your friends and get ready for a thrilling game of cat and mouse. With its blend of area majority, auction, and hand management mechanics, Downtown is a game that will keep you coming back for more.
