Description

In the far future, the humble honeybee has evolved to become a highly advanced society known as Mellifera, capable of space travel and technological advancements. In Apiary, you control one of twenty unique factions, starting with a hive, resources, and worker bees. Your goal is to explore planets, gather resources, develop technologies, and create carvings to demonstrate your faction's strengths, all within a year's Flow. As you navigate the challenges of the game, you'll need to manage your worker bees carefully, taking only a few actions before they must hibernate due to the approaching Dearth. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, Apiary offers a fun and strategic experience for 1 to 5 players, requiring normal complexity and some in-game text knowledge. Designed by Connie Vogelmann and published in 2023, Apiary is a thrilling base game with an expansion available, Apiary: Expanding the Hive, offering even more exciting gameplay opportunities.
