Description

In the strategic route-building game Expedite, players compete to build the most efficient network of hubs in different world cities. The goal is to connect the starting and ending cities on your World Trade Cards, and you can do this by purchasing hubs in the necessary cities. But here's the twist - you don't need to own all the hubs to complete a route. If you own the starting hub, you can pay your opponents to use their hubs, but be careful not to give them too many points in the process. This clever mechanic adds a social element to the game, as you'll need to negotiate with your opponents and make strategic decisions about when to collaborate and when to compete. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 minutes, Expedite is a great game for 2 to 4 players looking for a fun and challenging experience. Designed by Brent Douthit, Travis Koldus, and Vaughn Paxton, the game features a unique blend of hand management, network and route building, and card drafting mechanics. As you draw cards, place hubs, and score World Trade Cards, you'll need to think strategically about how to build your network and outmaneuver your opponents. The first player to collect 100 points wins, so you'll need to stay focused and adapt to changing circumstances if you want to come out on top. Published in 2012, Expedite is a modern classic that's sure to appeal to fans of aviation, transportation, and travel-themed games.
