The game is easy to learn and plays out over 30 to 45 minutes, making it a great option for a quick game night. Designed by Patrick Marino and Jim DiCamillo, Gem Hens was published in 2019 and features a unique blend of action queue, dice rolling, and set collection mechanics. Players roll their chicken dice simultaneously, trying to get the best results to move their chickens around the board and collect rare Grain Gems. The goal is to complete sets on your Egg Board to score positive points, while avoiding incomplete sets and unused gems that can score negative points.
