Description
In Sleuth, a classic deduction game designed by Sid Sackson, players search for a hidden gem among 36 possibilities. Each player starts with some information about what's not missing, as they're dealt a portion of the gem deck and any remaining cards are laid face up. With a second deck of search cards, players ask each other questions to gather more information, tracking their findings on a score pad. As players ask and answer questions, they must use deduction and memory to figure out the hidden gem. The game is easy to learn, but its simplicity belies a complex challenge. With 3 to 7 players and a playtime of 30 to 45 minutes, Sleuth is a fun and engaging game that's been entertaining people since its release in 1971. By using a combination of hand management and paper-and-pencil mechanics, players must use their wits to solve the mystery and win the game.
