Description

In The Secret of Monte Cristo, 2 to 4 players take on the roles of smugglers searching for hidden treasure on the island of Monte Cristo. The game is based on the classic novel by Alexandre Dumas and offers a unique blend of exploration and strategy. With easy-to-learn rules, players can dive right into the action, navigating the castle and competing to seize the most valuable treasures. Each round, players receive cards indicating the types of treasures that can be found, and then take turns placing their smugglers in the castle and taking actions based on a variable phase order. The goal is to outnumber other smugglers in the rooms and collect the treasures using the right sacks. With a playtime of 60 minutes, The Secret of Monte Cristo is a thrilling adventure that challenges players to outwit and outmaneuver each other in a quest for riches.
