The Last Kingdom Board Game is a game of war and politics for 2-5 players, designed by renowned designer John D. Clair. Set in a war-torn Britain, players take on the roles of great commanders and politicians, navigating a complex web of alliances and rivalries between the Saxons and Danes. With the kingdom of Wessex standing alone against the invading forces, players must tread a delicate path to claim power and shape the course of the war. Players will command armies, gain affinity with factions, and position their heroes and leaders to shift the tides of war, all while navigating a rotating market of actions and making strategic decisions to outmaneuver their opponents. With unique benefits and special cards available to each of the ten leaders, players must balance their military prowess with political skill to emerge victorious after two rounds of play.
