Description
NXS is an abstract strategy game that's all about making connections and outmaneuvering your opponents. Played on a modular board with hexagonal pieces, the game is easy to learn but challenging to master. Each player has their own board, which they set up with a varying number of pieces depending on whether they want a quick 15-minute game or a more epic 60-minute battle. The boards are then pushed together to create a unique playing field for each game, and players take turns moving and rotating their pieces to capture enemy territory and pieces. The goal is to surround and capture a certain amount of enemy territory - usually 10 spaces - and the game continues until one player achieves this. But what really makes NXS shine is its flexibility. Players can choose from official short, medium, and long game setups, or create their own custom starting positions. The amount of territory required to win can also be adjusted to suit different playing styles, and advanced rules even allow players to rotate their entire game board as a move. With its simple yet strategic gameplay, NXS is a great choice for 2-3 players looking for a fun and challenging abstract strategy game.
