Description

O'Kudos is a quick and clever game that's perfect for a fun night in with friends. Designed by Richard Breese and first introduced in 2005, this abstract strategy game is easy to learn but challenging to master. Players take turns placing counters on a Sudoku-style board, trying to cover up their opponents' numbered squares while protecting their own. With two to four players, the game is a great way to spend 20 minutes, and its simple rules make it accessible to everyone. The twist in O'Kudos is that each player is secretly assigned a set of colored areas on the board, and they must use deduction to figure out which areas belong to their opponents. As players place their counters, they'll need to think strategically about which squares to cover and which to leave open. The goal is to score the highest value by keeping your own numbered squares visible, and the player with the highest score at the end of the game is declared the winner. With its unique blend of tile placement and deduction, O'Kudos is a game that will keep you on your toes and leave you wanting to play again.
