Description
In Western Town, you're the Marshal of a growing town in the Old West, aiming to create the most prosperous town that would make President Lincoln proud. The game is all about balancing population growth, charm, and wealth, with the criteria changing every round. You'll need to adapt quickly to come out on top. With your own board to build on, you'll construct a town that gives you unique rights and abilities, but managing growth can be challenging. As you play, you'll need to make tough choices about which buildings to bring into play, using a combination of logic, strategy, and a little bit of bluffing to succeed. With 22 different buildings to choose from, each round will bring new opportunities and challenges, including the occasional Indian attack. Designed by Olivier Warnier, Western Town is a game of normal complexity that's easy to learn, but hard to master, making it a great fit for fans of city building and the American West.
