In Animal Rescue, you're the hero that animals need, working at a busy shelter where new friends arrive every day. Your mission is to fill the pens in the most clever way possible to score points, and with a little planning, you might even get to welcome some adorable baby animals, earning you even more points. The game is incredibly easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to everyone. Designed by Daryl Chow and published in 2020, Animal Rescue is a game that's all about strategic thinking and a little bit of luck, as you roll the dice to determine which animals you'll rescue next. With each roll of the dice, you'll choose an animal to draw in one of the empty pens at the shelter, thinking carefully about which block to place it in, as the color of the die will determine its home. The game is fast-paced, lasting only 15 to 20 minutes, and can be enjoyed with friends or alone, accommodating 1 to 5 players. As you play, you'll need to balance your choices to maximize your points, taking into account the different ways to earn rewards and bonuses.
