Description
In ZÈRTZ, a strategic board game, two players compete to collect sets of colorful balls on a hexagonal grid. The game is easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and a typical play session lasts between 30 to 60 minutes. Players take turns jumping one ball over others, similar to Checkers, or placing a new ball on the board while removing an empty space from the edge, causing the play area to shrink. As the game progresses, the shrinking board creates a sense of urgency, making each move crucial. With no in-game text required, ZÈRTZ is accessible to players of all languages. As part of the GIPF Project, ZÈRTZ offers a unique abstract strategy experience that challenges players to think ahead and plan carefully to outmaneuver their opponent.
