Description

In Puerto Diablo, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure set in the Caribbean, where power and riches are the ultimate goals. This pirate-themed game is designed for 2 to 5 players, and with a playtime of 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come your way. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but don't be fooled - the game itself is full of strategic depth and social interaction. You'll start with a deck of characters and skills, which you'll improve and expand throughout the game, using deck, bag, and pool building mechanics to gain an edge. As you work together with other players to overcome challenges, you'll need to negotiate and form alliances, but be warned: these alliances are short-lived, and heartless betrayal can be a winning strategy. With the take that mechanic, you can play action cards to disrupt your opponents' plans, and the card drafting mechanic allows you to strategically select the cards that will give you the upper hand. The game is divided into two phases: first, you'll focus on improving your deck and gathering experience in one of the eight specializations, and then you'll start buying victory points to win the game. With no player turns, you'll act when you want to, making for a dynamic and unpredictable experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Will you emerge victorious, or will your opponents outwit and outmaneuver you? In Puerto Diablo, anything can happen.
