Get ready for a fast-paced card game with X nimmt, designed by Wolfgang Kramer and Reinhard Staupe. This simple yet strategic game is perfect for 2 to 4 players and can be learned in no time, with a playtime of just 25 minutes. Players simultaneously reveal one card from their hand, placing them into rows of varying lengths, from three to five cards. The goal is to avoid collecting bullheads, which score negative points. As players take cards from the rows, they add them to their hand and must play one card into their personal X row in ascending order. If they can't, the set-aside cards are doubled in value, raising the stakes. The game ends after two rounds, and the player with the fewest negative points wins.
